I am so excited to be a part of such a foundational year of your child's education. I am enthusiastic about teaching children and investing in their lives. As an Interventionist, my goal is to provide a safe, interactive, and fun learning environment for your child to grow and succeed in.
 

I grew up in Wills Point, TX. and I returned briefly after completing undergraduate studies at Howard Payne and The University of Texas at Arlington. Once a tiger, always a tiger! 

 I have taught in Wills Point for the last 9 years.  I was the ESL teacher at Woods Intermediate and currently, I am the Interventionist at the Primary.  These first years of school are so important and I am happy to be part of these little guys and gals education.   

I graduated from Texas A&M Corpus Christi University with a Master’s Degree in Education and Curriculum and Instruction.  I am still continuing my own education because we never stop learning new things.  I hope to instill in the students I teach a love for learning along with compassion and kindness for others.

My name is Tammy Hiler. I am a 1st Grade Reading Interventionist at the Primary.  I have been teaching for 31 years with 21 of those being here in Wills Point.

I am married to Russell and we have 2 daughters, Claire & Madelin, all who graduated from Wills Point ISD. My goal is to help grow my students' confidence and love for reading.
